How many did you catch?

 So this is how it starts....

Chris and Nate were out doing something in the yard. I went to go see what  they were doing.


To you it will sound disgusting, but to me it sounded cool they were out digging for grubs. Once I saw them I jumped down and started to look for them.


When we finished, we had caught 100 grubs.

We put them in a bucket to keep them until next summer to use to fish. 

First Time Catching One in the Creek

We have never caught a fish in our creek; what us kids call swamp. So Chris and Nate were out fishing and Nate had just started screaming I thought someone had got bitten by a water snake. But then he yelled," Chris caught a fish". So Dad, Anna,and I ran down to see the fish. 

Then Dad ran up to get Mom and the camera. When Chris took the fish out so Mom could take a picture the fish wiggled. And then Dad took the hook out of the fish's mouth and let it go.

And the story ends.

My Pet from the Vet

This is how we got Abigale.






I wanted a kitten for my birthday, so we went to the vet for our dog, Jack. At the vet dog catchers
bring stray kittens and our vet saves  them to become pets for people.






There were 4 kittens in the cage to be adopted. When we went to the cage, only two kittens came over to us. I asked to hold Abigale because I thought she was cute. I chose Abigale.

 Abigale is a really sweet kitten; you would love her. She is the sweetest kitten you could know. We bought Abigale for $40 but she was updated with shots and was already spayed. She is now almost 1 year old and I got to chose her birthday. To feed her it takes $10 every 3 months.


Every time we go to the vet, we look at the cats. Last time there was new kittens that were so small and cute. One day my dad and I went to the vet and I got to hold one. They were very sweet and furry. My sister was jealous she did not come.

 My family learned that sometimes a pet from the vet is the best kind!!

Here comes Darcy

This is how we got Mr Darcy. My sister want a rabbit and she found a rabbit on craigslist.That weekend we went to go pick Mr Darcy up.When we got there we picked Darcy out and all held him.then we went home and showed Mr Darcy his new home. 
Anna got darcy for $ 12. he is a very sweet rabbit and loves other people. 

Here comes the fish

This is how we got Blue Lightning.

One of our friends were moving and they could not bring the fish with them. So we brought it home with us.

When we got home the fish look around to see were he was.Then after like 5 days, the fish got used to the house. Now we love to watch the fish swim around in his bowl.

 

There is a rock in Blue Lightning's bowl that he likes to swim and sleep under.

Jack Becomes Ours

Jack is our dog. We've had him for almost 2 years!

This is how we got Jack. My sister wanted a pet. So we went to the pet store to look around. Then my aunt, my brothers, my pey, my dad, and my grammie went to the dog store. Soon my sister, my mom and I walked in and saw Jack. We played with Jack in the waiting room.

Then we bought Jack and he came home with us that night.

When we first got Jack he was scared of going up and down the stairs and mostly everything. But after a couple of days, he got used to everything and got wild.

It was hard having a puppy  because he used the bathroom on the floor, stole the toilet paper, and chewed our toys.We had to train him to potty outside and keep our toys where they were supposed  to go.

Jack is trained now but he still is wild and mischievous. We are glad he's our dog.
